Why should the Royal Mail give Lizzy Yarnold a gold post box?
Unlike at the time of the London Olympics, it is now just another private company.
It should no longer be called the Royal Mail, or have the Crown or the Royal Initials on its products and its places of business.
Then we might realise quite what had been stolen from us, in an outright fraud that cries out for a Police investigation.
