The Setting Sun

An astonishing communication from inside The News Building, the British seat of Anglophonia's very own prostrated to, yet tottering, House of Saud, the House of Murdoch.

Look out for men, older women, larger women, disabled women, women of colour (including in hijabs), breastfeeding, and This Is What A Feminist Looks Like on-and-off pictures.

Plus works of art as Page 3 Through The Ages.

Oh, and examples of nudity and near-nudity from The Guardian and Comment is Free, where I am the first to say that there is no shortage of such material.

The Sun is demob happy. If half of this happened, then, especially once Ed Miliband was Prime Minister, I'd give it two years.

Or even less than that, if King Rupert went to his reward.

  1. Who next, Libby Lane? Actually the question is whether she or her husband will be signed up as a Sun on Sunday columnist, watch this space.

If it's men, older women, larger women, disabled women and women of colour the punters want, they should already be reading Fiesta. Don't know about hijabs, mind.

The works of art could and should be Readers' Wives Through The Ages. The feminist t-shirts could be on the front page, removed on the inside.

    1. John Sentamu certainly used to have a Sun on Sunday column, and he may still have it.

George Carey had a column on the News of the World, and he was a character witness for Stuart Kuttner.
