What is the story here? The SNP is clearly unused to the normal politics that it has stamped out in its fiefdom.
We all knew, and the ludicrously expensive inquiry has confirmed, that it and its Leader wanted David Cameron to win the overall majority that it made no small contribution to giving him.
Alistair Carmichael and his former Special Adviser have nothing for which to apologise, no reason to resign from anything, and absolutely none to forgo any payment to which they might be entitled.
Well, apart from getting caught, perhaps. But caught doing what, exactly?
