Bad Times, Good Times

As it sets itself up as a great authority, the only thing worth knowing about The Times is that on 12th March it reported on its front page that Sergei Skripal was dead.

But the deputation of Peers and clergy to Syria has woken the British public up to the fact that there are Christians in Syria, and to their views on the bombardment of their country in the Islamist interest. Giles Fraser for Foreign Secretary, say I.

Giles is also a sound Brexiteer of the Left, where the referendum was won. So of course the Windrush petition has sailed past the necessary 100,000 signatures, and that in only a few days. Like the referendum, and like the election and re-election of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour Leader, a great victory for the ghost of Tony Benn.

Here's to two more, one over Chagos, and the other over Syria.
